This is a picture of our Magnolia Tree out in the front yard. I ASKED for a Crepe Myrtle, but got this instead. Oh well, it's still a nice southern tree and I like that it's an evergreen. I hope it will bloom this year. I don't know anything about Magnolias, so I have not a clue. We have big landscape plans for the backyard though, so I'm still getting my Crepe Myrtles, dammit!

I really love magnolias!! Their petals kind of stink when they fall though, like dogwoods...
Eww, gross. The pear tree petals are icky too.
Magnolia blossoms are really big, right? I feel like they sort of look like gardenias. I'm gonna go look it up now. :-)
