Serviceberry Trees

My Serviceberry trees are in full bloom and they are GORGEOUS. They look very similar to cherry trees, only the shape is different and the blossoms last longer. I love it when the blossoms from trees fall and it looks like snow on the ground.

The tree with the bird house in it is a Gingko tree, which has yet to unfurl its leaves.

Your trees are beautiful. I am looking to plant a Serviceberry in Poulsbo, Washington.

Thanks! They are gorgeous trees and generally underused in landscaping. Good luck! I've loved mine so far.

Adina,

Do you know what type of Serviceberry you have? I read something about "Downy" Serviceberry.
