Where part of the money goes

I saw this on the gas pump when I stopped to get gas the other day. I'd never seen anything like this before, but I think it's a good idea. It also shows you what an idiotic idea it is to repeal the federal tax on gas for a short period of time-- there are a billion reasons why I believe that idea is bonkers, but for one thing, as you can see, it would not really make much of a difference in what you're spending at the pump. The real issue is the price of oil, not the taxes you pay.
