New kitchen light fixture

Steph was able to hang the light fixture tonight. We both love it. Of course, the people at West Elm told me that it was hardwire ready, but it really just came with a plug. Luckily, Steph is a budding electrician and she was able to rig it to be hardwired. It makes such a difference in the room. Once the kitchen is painted and the backsplash is done, the kitchen will be complete. Yay! West Elm is my new favorite store, I've decided.

Hi Adina,
I love your new light in the kitchen. I also think your cats are the cutest I have ever seen other than my own.

Now, about the chopsticks. I previously said I knew of two different kinds, ones with ridges or grooves for noodles and ones that are smooth. But, then I remembered there are chopsticks that are very rough (like sandpaper) on the ends which also makes it easier to handle slippery things. I have all three types. I usually buy chopsticks because I like the design or style, but I am sure the Japanese also think of the function.
