2nd book for January

I made a grand total of 20 resolutions for 2008-- some big, but most pretty manageable. One of those resolutions is to read at least two books each month. Sometimes I'll read 10 books a month, but then months and months will go by where I read nothing at all. This will be my second book of 2008. I've read a few of the short stories and so far I'm not too impressed, but I'm willing to wait it out and hope they get better. If you have any books you think I absolutely must read, please let me know! You can e-mail me or send me a message on GoodReads or something.

Oh yes, on an unrelated topic, my ear will be fine. Oh happy day! No surgery!

I'm hoping that no surgery means your trip up north won't be postponed? I'm lucky if I read 2 books per YEAR so I'm very glad to hear that you'll be making up for my lack of reading!

Yay, Andrew's back. Even if I had needed the surgery, it would have been an outpatient thing that I would have done this weekend. Nothing can stop me from coming to visit you next week, my dear!

Glad to hear you do not need surgery. YEAH. Good luck on the book reading.

Have you heard of LibraryThing.com?

Check it out, you can enter your books and then it shows you who else has that book on their list. You can see their list and maybe find something you'll like too.

I just finished book # 1 last night and I'm reading it again. It's the procrastinator one...going through to do the exercises now.

I'm half done with book #2 and #3. Weird, I know.

Good news about your ear!

I have the same goals. Sometimes I try to read on the subway, but get distracted by a playlist or 'Coach' or the 'Jesus Lady'.

Haha! Oh, the glories of public transportation. To be a New Yorker!
