Anniversary

Today is our wedding anniversary-- I can't believe it's been 5 years already! Steph was in class most of the day, but she sent me these beautiful orchids. I love orchids. It's been hard to find decent flowers locally as of late because of the heat wave and the drought. Even the downtown farmer's market closed early because there simply isn't any produce...sad.

We were going to go to a fancy restaurant for dinner, but we were lying in bed resting and talking and we both decided we'd rather have tacos, so we went to our favorite Mexican restaurant instead. Hehe.

Happy Anniversary! I can't believe it's been 5 years already too ... wow, those were the days, when psycho friends had to be picked up in the middle of the night. Ahhh. Anyway, the orchids look beautiful. And you guys sound like us. We would usually rather go out for something quick and easy like Baja Fresh than go out for a fancy dinner.

That "friend" is still a sore subject between Steph and myself. I KNEW we shouldn't have invited her. Oh man, I wonder what happened to her?!?!?! She is probably living in Beirut or something. Do you know? I also wonder what happened to Marie? Does Chad ever talk to her?

I have no idea what happened to her. The last I heard, she had broken up with Mr lettuce and tomato but was staying married so he wouldn't have to leave the country. As for Marie, last I heard, she was going to UPenn or something. Chad doesn't talk to anyone.

Ah, ha, I think I know who you are talking about. The one who thought she could speak French? No?

Did she think that? She was (and probably still is) INSANE! Why were we friends with her? What were we thinking? Ah, youth. Kathy, did you meet her? If so, what did you think of her? I always wonder what my family thinks of my friends who end up not working out...usually they know from the start that something is not right about them.

Mom, I think you're thinking of someone else. But that one was pretty crazy too.

OK...I am thinking of one of your former roommates, Andrew. Does Adina know her? The discription sounded just like her. Married to someone who might leave the country type thing...
